Dr. Tapaltsyan has published research on FP1 restorations, where teeth emerge from the gumline the way natural teeth do, and he uses that approach whenever your anatomy allows. Dr. Michele Frawley then takes over the appearance: shape, length, shade, and how the teeth sit against your face.

Sometimes it is, and sometimes it is not. Removing every tooth is faster to plan, so it gets recommended more often than it should. We look at each tooth individually and tell you which can be predictably kept.
Most healthy adults with failing or missing teeth are. A 3D scan at your consultation tells us for certain.
It describes teeth that emerge from the gumline the way natural teeth do. Dr. Tapaltsyan has published research on it, and uses that approach whenever your anatomy allows.
Five steps. A free consultation with no exam required. Then records, a 3D surgical plan and your smile design, both reviewed by all four doctors. Then surgery, and you go home the same day with teeth. Then healing visits where we refine the bite and appearance. Then your final zirconia teeth at about three months.
You leave with temporary teeth the same day as surgery. Final zirconia teeth are placed at about three months.

Volume clinics are built to move cases through quickly, which is why full extraction is so often the recommendation. Here, four doctors review your case, your surgeon holds a PhD and teaches this work at UCSF, and your teeth are made in the lab he owns.
That is often said when a clinic cannot place implants in a difficult upper jaw. Dr. Tapaltsyan places zygomatic and pterygoid implants, which anchor into stronger bone higher in the face, so cases turned away elsewhere are usually still treatable here. He also corrects failed implant work done at other practices.
